Heart attack (Myocardial Infarction)

A heart attack or Myocardial Infarction MI is a blockage within the coronary arteries occluding the blood flow to the heart muscle.

Myocarditis

Myocarditis is inflammation of the heart muscle, usually following a recent virus or experiencing flu-like symptoms.

Atrial Fibrillation

Atrial Fibrillation or “AF” is a common irregular Heart Rhythm. AF is a disorganized and chaotic electrical activity in the upper chambers of the heart (the Atria).

Palpitations or ectopic beats

Heart palpitations or ectopic beats are heartbeats that may make you feel symptomatic due to their pounding, fluttering or irregularity in pattern.

High blood pressure

High blood pressure is known as hypertension. It means your blood pressure is consistently too high and means that your heart has to work harder to pump blood around your body.
