Dr Patrick Gladding’s Background
Patrick is dual trained in both Internal Medicine and Cardiology. He completed his Cardiology training at the Greenlane Cardiovascular Service, Auckland, and has been a practising cardiologist since 2007. He undertook a Fellowship in Advanced Imaging at the Cleveland Clinic, USA, in 2010.
In addition to his work at Ascot, Patrick is also employed as a cardiologist at North Shore and Waitakere Hospitals. He has expertise in cardiac imaging, personalised healthcare and angiography, and in 2013 he completed a PhD in cardiovascular medicine. He enjoys helping patients with the use of innovative technologies and the latest developments in genomic medicine, whereby information about an individual’s genetic makeup can be utilised to tailor treatment specifically to the patient. He is the founder of Theranostics Laboratory.
Outside of work Patrick enjoys drawing, skiing and outdoor activities with his family.
